“Atelier in Beeld” is the open studio weekend for visual artists throughout Flanders and Brussels.
It’s an ideal moment to showcase their work and discover studios.
“Atelier in Beeld” is for all visual artists aged 18 and up with a studio in Flanders or Brussels. Beginners and advanced, professional and non-professional, young and old.
The participating artists practice one or more of these techniques: sculpture, collage, design, digital art, metalworking, film, photography, glass art, printmaking, graphic design, installation art, illustration, calligraphy, ceramics, mixed media, mosaic, painting, street art, drawing, and textiles.
The studio is the place where visual work is created. It’s a workspace where you can see the traces of the creative process: brushes and paint splatters, sharpened pencils and pencil shavings, looms and yarn, clay remnants and a potter’s wheel, a printing press and ink stains … Visitors can see where and how the work is created.
The studios are free and open to the public on May 6th and 7th, 2023.
